‘Centipede’ to be screened nationwide

New Iranian comedy ‘Centipede’ has been scheduled to go on screen at theaters across the country in near future.

Directed by award-winning director Abolhassan Davoudi and produced in 2017, the flick is predicted to be one of top grossing Iranian comedies ever.

The cast list, which comprises several comedy stars, is also a possibly unprecedented one in the Iranian cinema history.

The screenplay was also on the spotlight by critics who praised it last year.

Actors such as Mehran Ahmadi, Sepand Amir-Soleymani, Reza Attaran, Sara Bahrami, Javad Ezati, Shohreh Lorestani and Omid Rouhani, among many other famous names, are on the cast list.

‘Centipede’ depicts events back in the 1980s and 1990s, that surround of the lead character, played by Attaran.
